Of which, OLT provides 4 IP upmotion portS alongwith 4 EPON downmotion ports. As each port is available for connecting with 32 splitters,each OLT supports 128 ONU users. Its transmission distance could be up to 20km and only 1Uheight makes it easy to install.
POF-E1000 是高性能的塑料光纤GEPON设备，利用FTTH/FTTB/FTTC光纤网络为各种用户（如家庭用户、企业用户等），提供最大带宽达1Gbps的传输平台。同时，借助于无源光网络（PON）系统的天然优势，运营商以经济的造价和极少的光缆线路投资，方便地实现了高速上网、IPTV组播/点播等高带宽IP数据业务的传送。
该系统主要由OLT（OpticalLine Terminal，光纤线路终端）和ONU（OpticalNetwork Unit，光纤网络单元）以及分路器（Splitter）构成。POF-E1000T 是其中的OLT设备，该设备提供4个到IP网的上行接口，同时提供4个EPON下行端口，每个端口在单根光纤上支持32个光分路，因此单台OLT设备即可支持128个ONU用户，传输距离可达20km。其高度仅1U，安装方便灵活。
